I'll probably work on this more. I wouldn't exactly call it final at the moment. There also seems to be a small drawing bug in the Inkscape SVN build I used (as of late 2007-12-31). See if you can spot it.

I think I've improved since my last entry in one of these contests =P

don't be discouraged, it looks great, the lighting on the bottom part is very good, the logo is the light source :)

It just doesn't look so appropriate as an about screen as some of the other entries I've seen.

...then again, there was one winner a few years ago that I didn't think fit as an about screen.

It probably needs colour to be accepted. I'm no good at colour myself.
The sign reminds me of some Warner Bros cartoon: Welcome to Toontown! (I do realise the point of the perspective)
And what is the flaw? Do tell, unless there's a prize for finding it.

There have been sepia tone ones it the past. I seem to recall an all greyscale one in the past, too. It's been a while, though, and I haven't been keeping track.

And yes, there is a prize. A virtual cookie :cookie:

Oh, and remember the rules state you have to link to the SVG, or it automatically gets disqualified.

Oh, thank you. I thought that you only needed to provide it after the contest. That wouldn't have ended well. That's what I get for not carefully reading the rules.
